Real Words

When we own our words, they become
very real, even sacred, something we fight
for. “I give you my word” it’s a saying which
acknowledges how deeply we own, and
identify with words.

Words are no mere symbols, they are
the vessels and the triggers of our emotions.
They convey our intelligence, and those who
sly our words, sly us.

So it’s easy to see that when our words are
contested, they become very real, and people
who, are otherwise very wise, begin to fight
like children over words. Stones break bones,
but words bruce feelings, and pride, and that
spells a nasty fight on line. Tell me how
seriously you take words, and I will tell how
free you are.
