Standing as Awareness: Dialogs from Nondual Dinners

Author: Dr. Greg Goode

The book’s title is a tribute to Sri Atmananda (Krishna Menon), a great teacher in the Advaitic nondual tradition. Sri Atmananda’s recommendion is to take a stand as awareness. In doing so, you don’t take yourself as an object, such as the body or a personalized mind state, but as awareness itself. This direct and immediate stand is something you can’t possibly be wrong about, since awareness has always been the nature of your being (and all else). After you take a stand as awareness, you will come to see that all of your experience actually confirms this stand. Sri Atmananda passed away in 1959, but his teachings have been carried forth by Jean Klein and Francis Lucille.
