What is Enlightenment?
Neither was Buddha enlightened nor was Siddhartha un-enlightened.
For the sense of the self named Siddhartha, enlightenment was an
issue to be addressed, an objective experience named Truth,…to be
obtained, no matter what was the cost to be incurred.
The same organism, sitting under the Bodhi tree,…..
….the issue was no longer of any relevance.
No longer of relevance not because an answer was found which resolved
the issue, ………but because of the absence of the sense of the
entity,….. for whom the issue, any issue,………..is an issue.

Following is what I am able to find and read on enlightenment and on what it means and what it involves and what keeps happening.
Tolle:
“since then there is an undercurrent of peace that hasn’t left me. Sometimes it is very strong almost palpable and others can feel it. Other times it is more like a distant melody in the background. ”
Osho:
“..And that day something happened that has continued – not as a continuity – but it has still continued as an undercurrent. Not as a permanency – each moment it has been happening again and again….”.
Katie:
“When I am free, I am. When I am not, I am not.”
Ramana:
When (my) eyes are closed it is nirvikalpa, when they open it is kevala when working it is sahaja.
